Books are still a better source of information than the Internet

Some people think that it is still better to obtain information from books than online. Others hold a different opinion.
ГЛАВНЫЙ АБЗАЦ
Personally, I am convinced that the Internet has already become the best source of information and it is a better choice than books. Firstly, it is more convenient because it saves time. The Internet is a huge library close at hand and all the information is accessible at any time at the click of a button. Secondly, the Internet saves money because it offers a lot of free information whereas books have to be bought. Thirdly, due to online video and audio materials it can be more entertaining and interesting to collect information from the Internet than from books.
МНЕНИЕ ОППОНЕНТА
On the other hand, opponents claim that compared to the Internet books are still a better source of information. They insist that all books are previewed and checked before being published whereas anyone can publish articles online without any editing or proving the information right. As a result, there is a lot of wrong and fake information online.
ОПРОВЕРЖЕНИЕ
I do not agree with that opinion because there are a lot of official sites where the information is trustworthy, reliable and up-to-date.
ЗАКЛЮЧЕНИЕ
To conclude, I think that books are no longer better than the Internet concerning the acquisition of information. I have explained the reasons above.

It offers a lot of free information whereas print books have to be bought and will cost much more than the Internet. Thirdly, in contrast to books, online information is regularly updated. There are many examples to illustrate my arguments. For instance, people always go online for a recipe or a meaning of a word, to read a weather forecast or to learn about celebrities.
